Release date of new shows, and platforms to watch
House of Dragons
HBO’s hit fantasy drama Game of Thrones’s prequel series was dubbed even better than the original when it was released in 2022. House of the Dragon is back with the second season on June 16, and June 17 in India. There will be new clashes, a new revenge plot, and a lot of dragon fire. The series is based on author Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire, book Fire and Blood, House of the Dragons follows the Targaryen dynasty in the fictional continent of Westeros. It took place nearly 200 years before the Games of Thrones, and about 100 years after the Targaryenus united the Seven Kingdoms. It will be available from June 16, 16: 30 AM on Jio Cinema.
Bridgerton (Season 3, part 2)
The courtship era of Colin and Penelope starts in this part of the hit Netflix period drama. The period-era romance series is based on the books of Julia Quinn, focusing on a sibling of the Bridgerton family. This time, Penelope risks losing her love and other lives due to her secret identity as Lady Whistledown. Will her truth be revealed, or will there be a happily ever after for her? The series is streaming now on Netflix, find out what happens further.
Do Aur Do Pyaar
After its humdrum box office performance, Vidya Balan’s romantic comedy has arrived on OTT as a second chance. Do aur Do Pyaar follows Kavya and Ani, starring Vidya Balan and Pratik Gandhi, a married couple who fall back in love with each other despite their extramarital affairs after a trip to Ooty brings back memories. The movie is released on Hotstar and streaming now.
The Boys (Season 4)
The Modrant superhero series The Boys has dropped the first three episodes of season four on Thursday. The cast members include Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Jessie T. Usher, Erin Moriarty, and Chace Crawford. New to the cast are Valorie Curry and Susa Heyward as two new superheroes, Fire Cracker, and Sister Sage. The series is now streaming on Prime Video. Presumed Innocent
Jake Gyllenhall has starred in his first TV role as a prosecutor accused of murder in Presumed Innocent for Apple TV. It is based on a novel by Scott Turow that was adapted into a film starring Harrison Ford in 1990. Peter Sarsgaard, in real life, is married to Jake’s sister Maggie, who plays Gyllenhaal’s courtroom adversary. It is streaming now on Apple TV.
