Darsheel Safary remembered as Ishaan Awasthi from the 2007 film ‘Taare Zameen Par’ for his memorable performance under the direction of Aamir Khan, took his fans down a memory lane as an Instagram post to spill the beans on an upcoming project with the coolest teacher – Aamir Khan, calling the 16-year hiatus to an end.
The Instagram Post that left the internet awe-struck
The collage posted by the former child actor is taking all over the internet, with the first image being a still from the very-loved Taare Zameen Par. At the same time, other stills of the post feature Khan as an old man and Safary as a young man, hinting at a before-after transformation.
The post caption says, “BOOOMMMMM! 16 years later, and we’re together again Emotional? Yeah, a little. Charged? ABSOLUTELY. All the love to my favourite mentor for the experience. Watch this space for the Big reveal. 4 Days to go!!!” sparking anticipation among the fans as they eagerly wait to witness the magic on the big screen.
A sequal to Taare Zameen Par – “Sitaare Zameen Par”
But Speculations are rife regarding the nature of their forthcoming venture, with many enthusiasts hoping for another emotionally resonant narrative akin to “Taare Zameen Par” – to be named “Sitaare Zameen Par”. Though the details are under tight wraps, Aamir Khan has confirmed the release of the movie over Christmas hinting at a tight schedule from February onwards. Additionally, reports suggest that the movie will cast Genelia Deshmukh opposite Aamir Khan for the first time, who is expected to play a significant role in the film.
Aamir Khan, known for his storytelling approach in movies and fondness for socially relevant themes, is believed to have delivered box office successes throughout his illustrious career.
