The crude gruesome realities and the intentional lapses made by the various authorities in Pune Crash case has enraged the conscience of the general public. The blood sample of the minor in charge was allegedly manipulated by the doctors. Constant political surveillance to save the minor has been observed since the day of the incident. Constant harassment of the witness, the ‘Driver’, in this case, to commit to the crime displayed the muscle power being exercised in full capacity.
Mr. Vishal, the father of the minor in charge, was in constant touch with Dr. Taware, head of the state-run hospital’s forensic medicine department. Swapping of the blood sample was initially Mr. Taware’s idea, as both were operating in a similar headspace that ‘money can buy anything and everything’, as reported by a police official.

Dr. Taware, Dr. Shrihari Halnor the CMO of the casualty section and Atul Ghatkamble, a staff member were directly involved in throwing away the blood sample of the accused and replacing them with another person’s blood.
A sum of INR 3 Lakh was seized by, the Pune Police crime branch. Dr. Halnor and Mr Ghatkamble allegedly received this to perform this heinous action. The question remains, is Dr Taware solely responsible for this corruption-driven act? The senior police officer mentioned that investigations are underway to determine the primary source.
