On Tuesday Prime minister Narendra Modi said he aims to work three times more with thrice the speed in order to achieve the targets for India. He also praises India for achieving the said goals.
In an event in Moscow, while addressing the Indian diaspora Modi said, “Today India shines as a country that is giving the world the most reliable model of digital transaction.”

Glorifying 10 years on India
He says that the world is surprised to see the pace of development India has achieved in the past 10 years. Expressing his gratification over addressing the Indian community in Russia, he says that it is his first conversation after forming government the third time. Mentioning the date 9th of July which marks completion of 1 month since his oath as prime minister.
“I took the vow to work with the times more strength, at triple the speed and coincidence that number 3 is also present in many of the government goals.”
The biggest goal of India is to become the third largest economy in the world in the third term. He also mentioned the scheme of ‘Lakhpati Didi’ which aims to empower women to earn more than a lakh. He also talks about women self help groups running across India. PM Modi stated that people feel India is changing when they come from abroad to the country and people from abroad clearly witness transformation in the country. He noted that the world is surprised by seeing the number of airports in India which have doubled in the past 10 years and also the successful hosting of events like G20.
India-Russia bond
PM Modi considers Russia a ‘reliable friend’. “No matter how much temperature plunges in minus in Russia, the warmth of Indo-Russian bond will always be in plus,” said PM amid loud applause.
Speaking about the special relationship between India and Russia, PM Modi said,”I am happy that India and Russia are working shoulder to shoulder to give new energy to Global Prosperity. All of you present here are giving new heights to the relations between India and Russia. You have contributed to Russian society with your hard work and honesty. I have kayal (admired) the unique relationship between India and Russia for decades.”

He also pointed to the famous song “sir pe laal topi Russi phir bhi dil hai hindustani, and spoke about the contribution of artists like Raj Kapoor and Mithun Chakraborty for strengthening ties between the countries.

PM Modi has arrived for an official visit in Moscow where earlier on Monday both the leaders were seen attending an informal meeting at Novo Ogaryovo, residence of Russian President near Moscow. After concluding his visit in Russia, PM Modi will fly off to Austria where an Indian PM will visit after 40 years.
