Rajkummar Rao, who’s playing the lead role in the movie Srikanth, has once again won the hearts of his fans with his ‘award-winning performance.
The movie, directed by Tushar Hiranandani, was finally released in cinemas on May 10, showcasing the real-life story of Srikanth Bolla, an industrialist. The movie also stars Jyotika, Alaya F and Sharad Kelkar. Soon after watching the first show, X (formerly known as Twitter) users flooded the feed with their reactions.

Storyline of the movie Srikanth
The story dates back to the year 1992 in Hyderabad where Srikanth’s journey begins from fighting for his education to becoming the first visually challenged international scholar at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). The film revolves around the industrialist’s determination to empower people with disabilities. Actor Rajkummar Rao plays the main character, Srikanth Bolla, while Jyotika plays the role of Devika Malvade, who’s the former’s mentor.

The Central Board of Film Certification has awarded the movie with a U certificate. The total time duration of the movie is two hours and 14 minutes. Earlier, during an interview, Rao had said that he was both nervous and excited to do the role. “I love challenges. And, something that scares me excites me even more. Srikanth did that to me. I’ve never played a visually impaired man before.” Now, all eyes are on the box office.
