India’s Aamras tops Global List of Best Rated Mango Dishes

India has made it to the list of the best-rated dishes with mangoes in the world. Aamras is ranked one on the list, and Mango Chutney has gained the fifth position. TasteAtlas an online food and travel guide, has provided critical reviews and research articles about local foods worldwide. They recently shared the list on social media with the caption, “These are the best dishes with mango! What is your favourite?”. 

The world’s best dishes with mango 

The list has generated positive reactions from desi netizens, who are happy to see Aamras top in the list. 10 best dishes with mango according to TasteAtlas Ranking (Jun 2024) 

1. AAMRAS from Maharashtra, India has topped the list and secured 4.4 ratings. It is pureed mango pulp that is eaten as a dessert. 
2.  Mango Sticky Rice of Thailand is in the top 2 with a 4.3 rating. 
3. Sorbetes  from the Philippines have a rating of 4.2 
4. Rujak from Java, Indonesia secures a 4.1 rating. 
5. Mango Chutney from India, has secured fifth position with a 4.0 rating. 
6.  Mango Pomelo Sago the dish is from Hong Kong, China, and has got a rating of 3.9 
7.  Mangguo Buding originated in Guangdong, China received a 3.9 rating. 
8.  Rujak Cingur is from Surabaya, Indonesia has secured a rating of 3.8 rating. 
9. Baobing from Guangdong, china secured the ninth position with a 3.4 rating.
10. Mamuang Nam Pla Wan from Thailand got a 3.3 rating.

How have the Internet users reacted?

Desi citizens have rejoiced after Aamras and other Indian dishes that have made it to the list. One user wrote, “Bow down for the king, Aamras.” Aamras is an emotion for Maharashtrians, they can survive on it forever. While the other user commented, “Mango Dal is bae.” Aam dal is another dish that is served with rice and relished. All the users were happy to see India top the list in the TasteAtlas ranking.
