The ones who make it a star studded evening are the artists from across the world. Last year Alia Bhatt made her debut at the Met gala, and this year she looked breath taking at the Met gala in the timeless saree designed by Sabyasachi. The theme for the Met gala was “The garden of life”.

The actor was seen wearing the Pastel green saree where she looked amazing. The actress was praised by the netizens for showing the timeless tradition of the Indian culture which had very detailed embroidery and glass work. She was styled by Anaita Shroff who was there with her. She had the long pallu which gave a very dreamy vibe of “sleeping beauty and reawakening fashion”. The reawakening fashion of Saree which was indeed styled beautifully with a sleeveless blouse, baby pink stone earrings, and a beautiful matha patti studded with emeralds.
The saree took 1905 man hours of work, and 163 craftsmen which were completely hand embroidered. It was an ode to arts and craftsmen. “Six yards of pure elegance”, was delivered by Alia Bhatt at the Met gala which not only showed the vision of sabyasachi but also the fact that they made sure to showcase the rich tradition of India and its culture.
