ALFA Hockey launches #BankeDikhaAlpha campaign ahead of Paris Olympics 2024

Synopsis : ALFA Hockey, India's number one manufacturer of hockey equipment, launched its #BankeDikhaCampaign to extend its support to the national hockey team. It is India's only hockey campaign.

‏It’s the Olympics season, and this year, Paris is hosting it. The 2024 Olympic Games are to be scheduled from July 26 to August 11. Three days before the commencement, ALFA Hockey, Asia’s top manufacturer of field hockey sticks and accessories, announced the launch of its #BankeDikhaAlpha campaign, which is India’s only hockey campaign. The campaign was started to generate nationwide support and enthusiasm for the national hockey team. ALFA Hockey stands out as the only brand in India to launch a dedicated hockey campaign.

The video campaign

The campaign began with an inspiring video featuring prominent players like Manpreet Singh, Mandeep Singh, Gurjat Singh, Shamsher Singh, Rajkumar Pal, Pr Sreejesh, Abhishek Nain, Amit Rohidas, Jugraj Singh, and Sukhjit Singh. The video furnishes motivation to the players and captures the weight of expectations, belief, and confidence that India will win gold at the Olympics. Subsequently a series of smaller videos exhibited players’ attacking and defensive skills, with a special focus on PR Sreejesh, the backbone of Indian Hockey and a longtime associate of ALFA Hockey.

Other campaigning activities

The campaign succeeded in bringing together the hockey fans and reigniting the passion for the sport through various events, digital engagements, and grassroot programs. It provided an opportunity for the fans to interact directly with their hockey idols. The campaign has also introduced limited-edition sticks designed to enhance player balance for the Olympics. Jitin Mahajan, Managing Partner and CEO of ALFA Hockey, said that the goal of the campaign is not only supporting the national team but also catalysing enduring change in India’s hockey scene.

Players reaction 

Overwhelmed by the support, The Indian Hockey forward, Manideep Singh, and India’s ace goalkeeper, PR Sreejesh, shared their happiness for all the love and support they are getting from fans all across the nation. They also described how incredibly motivating it has been for them.

2024 Paris Olympics

Additionally, the closing event of the Paris games will be the women’s marathon instead of the men’s.
