Ishq Vishk’s rebound earned about INR 85 lakh neet in India on its first day, as per the estimates. It had an overall 15.37 percent Hindi occupancy on Friday. The story spins around best friends who have fallen in love with each other and are navigating the rough waters of their relationship.

The film stars Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, Naila Grewal, and Jibraan Khan in romantic roles. Everyone thought that the Ishq Vishk was the sequel or remake, but it is completely different from that. The name Ishq Vishq was finalized because it belongs to the same franchise. This movie is a complete love story for the Gen-Z. Ishq Vishq was released in 2003 and starred Shahid Kapoor, Amrita Rao, Vishal Malhotra, and Shenaz Treasurywala.

Review
Ishq Vishq is considered one of the shortest movies in the latest times at 106 minutes. The movie doesn’t engage one like it has to captivate the audience of a rom-com. Dharmadhikari has co-written the story with four other writers Dr Vinat Chhawal, Vaishali Naik, Ketan Padgaonkar, and Akarsh Khurana, and that’s why there are few scenes that every writer has written for each character.
The screenplay has a patchy storyline as it looks unconnected and the flow is lost. Surprisingly it is said to be a romcom but the comedy is not up to the mark, and the love story is not quite new or refreshing for the Gen-Z.
