Several schools in Jaipur have received bomb threats which has left the city shocked. The school’s students and staff have been evacuated from the premises, but other than this the bomb threats have been sent to the hospitals and airports.
The bomb threats have been given even before this, first, it was in Delhi where they received a similar threat at schools and hospitals. Four schools in Jaipur received bomb threats through email on Monday, and soon after that the school students and staff were evacuated from the premises. The Police team reached the schools and started searching for the bombs and an investigation is underway.
Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph said “ Four- five schools have received bomb threats”. The team is trying to find the sender who had sent the threat email the police stated.

Security actions underway
DCP East Kavendar Sagar said “ Threatening emails have been sent to some schools of the city including the Maheshwari School [MPS]. The bomb disposal squad is trying to search for them in the schools so that they look forward and try to decode them.
The bomb threats were not only received by Schools, but eight city hospitals and International airports received the threats through emails later when they were checked by the team it appeared to be deception.
On May 12th at 3:30 pm, a bomb mail was received at GTB Hospital, hospital authorities informed the local police about the mail, and soon after that the bomb disposal squad rushed to the hospital and inspected the hospital premises. DCP Shahadhar Singh stated this and added that nothing suspicious was found.

However, after receiving such threats it has left the citizens of Jaipur in tension, after this the Jaipur Police has tightened the security in schools, hospitals and airports. Even though the police have said there is nothing suspicious, all that we can expect is to wait for the next official statement from the police regarding this.
